The Grump Bug [FFFFF/M, tickling]
Malcolm had been excited to go to Florida since the last time he went as a young boy. His last trip was eventful - visiting theme parks, watching a space shuttle take off, surfing on the coast, feeding alligators. Typical tourist stuff, but to an only child in surburbia surrounded by the mundane it was a trip worthwhile. Now as a young man in college his mom surprised him with plane tickets. It was to be a trip draped in nostalgia. But the plane ride was less than perfect. A big delay basically wasted their first day. And unfortunately, Malcolm’s mood was considerably sour. He did his best to keep polite, but went to bed bitter. He figured a rough start was only that, and the rest of the trip would go swimmingly. His mother wasn't too perturbed by the first day either. The next morning at the hotel Malcolm’s mood was brighter, anticipating feeding the gators. But bad luck appeared whenever it could over the following days: feeding gators did not elicit the same awe that it did
